Thomas Espemo is the Country Manager for Sweden at Pelican Self Storage, where he oversees the operations of 10 self-storage sites in the Stockholm area, encompassing over 68,000 square meters of gross area. Pelican Self Storage is currently expanding with a new light industrial building in Länna, southern Stockholm, set to open in Q3 this year. This new venture represents a strategic entry into a new market, offering great synergies with our existing self-storage portfolio.
With over a decade of experience at Pelican Self Storage, Thomas has been instrumental in driving the company's growth and enhancing its service offerings. Prior to joining Pelican, Thomas had a successful career in retail, primarily with GAME, where he managed operations for over 70 video game stores across Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. Thomas's extensive background in both the self-storage and retail industries has equipped him with a unique perspective and a wealth of knowledge, making him a valuable asset to the Pelican Self Storage team and the broader self-storage community.
