The Venue

This year the Annual French Self Storage Conference moves to the Lyon Marriott Hotel Cité Internationale.

The hotel sits right on the banks of the Rhône, in the Cité Internationale district next to the Parc de la Tête d'Or. It shares the neighbourhood with Lyon's convention centre, so you are never far from a coffee, a riverside walk, or a decent spot for dinner once the sessions wrap up. It is a 4-star hotel with everything you would expect, and the city centre is a short bus ride or a pleasant walk along the river away.

How to get there

From Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport (about 25 km)

Take the Rhônexpress tram from the airport to Lyon Part-Dieu station. It runs every 20 minutes and takes roughly 30 minutes. At Part-Dieu, switch to bus C1 in the direction of Cité Internationale and get off at the Cité Internationale - Centre de Congrès stop, a 3-minute walk from the hotel.

Prefer to skip the changes? A taxi from the airport takes around 35 to 40 minutes.

From Lyon Part-Dieu train station

The easiest route is bus C1, which runs directly to the Cité Internationale - Centre de Congrès stop in about 15 minutes. From there it is a short walk to the hotel.

A taxi from Part-Dieu takes roughly 10 minutes.

From Lyon city centre

From Bellecour or the Rhône riverside, hop on bus C4 towards Cité Internationale and alight at Cité Internationale - Centre de Congrès, about 15 minutes.

If the weather behaves, the walk north along the Rhône to the Parc de la Tête d'Or is a good one, and the hotel sits right at the end of it.
