Every year, the FEDESSA Annual Industry Report becomes a little sharper, a little more insightful, and that's entirely down to the operators who take the time to contribute. Last year's report was downloaded more than 3,000 times and referenced by investors, funders and operators across Europe as a go-to benchmark for the sector. This year's edition has every chance of being the best yet, but only with your input.
We encourage you to take part in the 2026 Annual Survey. The data collected will be used to map overall trends in the self storage sector and measure confidence levels across the industry. With new markets emerging and investor interest reaching new heights, this year's findings will be particularly valuable, and your organisation's experience is a key part of that picture.
All data is treated in strict confidence. No results will be attributed to any specific operator in the report, and only senior FEDESSA staff see individual responses. All results are consolidated before being shared with CBRE. No other operators, including FEDESSA board members, have access to individual data.
The survey is an online form and we envisage that it will take approximately 10 -15 minutes to complete.
